The Problem

You send the campaign in Mailchimp. Your sales team has no idea who responded.

01

Engagement data lives in a different system from the one your sales team uses

Your marketer knows who opened the October newsletter. Your salesperson calling that same contact on Tuesday morning does not. The data exists, it is just in the wrong place. By the time anyone cross-references it, the call has already happened cold.

02

Building follow-up lists from campaign data means exporting and importing again

You want to call everyone who opened the product launch email but didn't respond. That's a Mailchimp export, a spreadsheet filter, and a manual import into whoever handles outbound. For a team running monthly campaigns, this is hours of avoidable work every month.

03

Your contact history shows calls and meetings, but not which campaigns they responded to

A salesperson reviewing an account before a call can see every meeting and every note. But there's nothing showing that this contact opened your last three newsletters, clicked your case study link twice, and has been quietly engaged for months. That context is invisible.

Campaign engagement is sales intelligence. ConstructionCRM makes sure it's where your sales team already is.

See How We Solve It
How It Works

Four steps. No integrator required.

You keep using Mailchimp or Dotdigital to design and send your campaigns. ConstructionCRM handles everything that happens after the send.

Your marketing platform sends it. ConstructionCRM records who responded.

There is no change to how you send campaigns. You export your audience from ConstructionCRM's List Manager, import into Mailchimp or Dotdigital, and send as normal. The integration takes over after that, pulling every open and click back into the CRM automatically.

Audience exported from ConstructionCRM List Manager as CSV or Excel
Campaign sent entirely within Mailchimp or Dotdigital as normal
Every open and click pulled back into CCRM automatically
Engagement visible on Contact history alongside calls and meetings
List Manager can query who opened, clicked, or ignored any campaign
1
Export audience from CCRM
Use List Manager InfoSearch or Selected lists to build your send audience, then export as CSV or Excel
2
Design and send in Mailchimp
Import your audience, build the campaign, and send entirely within Mailchimp or Dotdigital as you normally would
3
Engagement synced back automatically
Opens, clicks, timestamps, and URLs clicked are pulled back into CCRM and created as Email Action records on each Contact
4
Follow-up with full context
Sales team sees engagement history on every contact. List Manager builds targeted follow-up audiences from who opened or clicked specific campaigns
What You Get

Campaign intelligence, built into your CRM workflow.

Every part of the integration is designed to reduce the gap between marketing sends and sales follow-up.

Opens & Clicks on Contact History

Every email open event is logged as an Email Action record on the Contact who opened it, with campaign name, timestamp, and click detail. Visible on the History tab alongside calls and meetings.

Engagement-Based Audience Targeting

List Manager can query email open events just like any other action. Build a list of everyone who opened a specific campaign and use it as the audience for a follow-up call, email, or workflow.

Campaign Records in CCRM

Campaign records including name, send date, subject line, and delivery statistics are stored in the Campaigns module for reporting and reference, alongside open rates benchmarked against the Construction industry average.

Workflow Manager Integration

Engagement data stored as Actions means Workflow Manager can trigger alerts when a contact opens a campaign. Assign follow-up tasks, create call actions, or flag engaged contacts to the right salesperson automatically.

List Manager Integration

Build your next campaign audience from who responded to the last one.

Because email open and click events are stored as standard Action records in ConstructionCRM, the List Manager can query them using the same criteria builder you already use for calls, meetings, and any other activity. No separate tool. No export. No manual process.

Filter by campaign name: contacts who opened "Headlines in Construction June"
Exclude dormant accounts and private clients with a single criteria toggle
Push the resulting list directly into a follow-up call campaign or second email

Client Stories

From teams who stopped guessing who to call next

Our clients treat campaign engagement as a prospecting signal. ConstructionCRM makes sure it's visible at the point of sale.

★★★★★
"We send a monthly newsletter to around 2,000 contacts. Before this, there was no way to tell which ones had actually engaged. Now every salesperson can see exactly who opened it before they make a call. The conversion rate on follow-ups has gone up noticeably."

★★★★★
"We used to export Mailchimp click data, filter it in a spreadsheet, then manually import it back as a call list. That's gone. Now the moment a contact clicks a link, it's on their record. My team starts Monday morning already knowing who to prioritise."

★★★★★
"A contact had opened our case study email four times without getting in touch. Our salesperson saw that on their history before calling and led with it. The conversation started in a completely different place. We closed the deal that week."
